Back to work for Adam. But it was icy and cold on his way. There are still a lot of people who can't even get out of their driveways yet. One co-worker happened to have a friend nicely drive by with his loader. So he was able to go. No school still, as the buses aren't able to get around. But it is a beautiful sunny day. Soon everything out at the mine was mud. Nice thing about spring blizzards, everything is melting down fast.
Nice packing snow, but Matthew was just too tired to get out today. Four days in a row of keeping up with Daddy - he needed a rest! The boys came over and asked if he wanted to play and he was excited to go. But when it came to getting all the gear on he quickly lost interest and just wanted to watch 'Blue's Clues.'
First day Kaitlyn was looking to moving onto the hip. She is curious to see what is going on in front and is just craning her neck to see. Since she still likes to be on our shoulders a lot looking back. So I moved her over and she is strong enough to do it. But we'll go slow and get the confidence up. She also gets a little shy look when we smile with her. She'll be making eye contact and smiling really big, then turn bashfully to the side and look down. So sweet. Her baby cooing is stopping now also and turning into deeper sounding 'talk.' Four months is coming up and she is showing her age.
Adam came home pretty tired and sore from all of that shoveling. And he still did a load of dishes for me. What a man. Our ten year anniversary is coming up and we still really try to help each other out. Who say's only the first year is the honeymoon year?
