Adam has been learning about pruning in class and is out in our yard right now trimming up one of our fruit trees. Perfect time of year he says. And this certain tree is pretty neat, the previous owner grafted onto it so it bears two or three different fruits, so we're told. Look forward to seeing what it does this summer.
Today Matthew and Mommy had a trip out all by ourselves. What a treat. We just went for groceries, but it was still pretty special. Will have to make sure we do that again soon.
Kaitlyn really likes the action she gets laying on the floor. She even batted at a toy for the first time. She also likes it in the swing, when someone is there with her. Daddy even got her to fall asleep in it one night. Today while she got to have one-on-one time with Daddy, she drank out of a bottle for the first time.
Our neighbor, Jim, has an excellent heart! Answer to prayer! He was violently sick with a 'stomach bug' last week and tore something. Possibly his diaphragm. When he felt better he went to the gym and while he was benchpressing, tore it more. He said it felt like a stack of bricks pressing down on him. But he's still going through more tests to make sure everything is as it should be.
