The whole neighborhood was out today. Up to 70 degrees. Just beautiful! Matthew added to his little "red neck" today. Daddy got him his very own bat and mitt. Out they were playing ball. They also leaned a board against the fence. This way they could throw the ball at it just right and it would bounce right back to them. They were there for quite a while with a bucket of tennis balls. Fantastic!
Matthew also got back together with the neighborhood boys. It's been a long winter. If they're not at school, it's just too cold to be out. But today they were putting a BMX bike together. Matthew was right there, handling the pump and then the tools.
At the time, Adam was next door pruning a crab apple tree for our neighbor. A very great day outdoors.
At dusk Matthew hopped on his trike and they were off again. They went over to the playground. Between riding his trike and playing on the equipment, they were gone a long time.
