March 19, Thursday

A repairman came and looked at our washer and dryer this morning. Always nice having someone come over, no matter who they are. Good incentive to have a nice clean house again. Those two appliances, plus the dishwasher get A Lot of use. I showed him our 'Montgomery Ward' dishwasher and asked his opinion. Should we fix on that also, or plan on buying a new one? Can you guess what he said? Yeah, kind of old.

We were just in time for story time at the library after this. Matthew is less and less interested in the stories. And for good reason, probably. He loves to go and climb into their loft that they have. Ladders are awesome! For an activity today they had bright colored flags the kids waved to a couple of songs. So he was there for that. We had a busy day. We Barely had lunch when we came back home and those two cuties were sound asleep. Today, Matthew's choice of something special to take to bed with him, his baseball mitt and book about two little boys who are best friends. We read it every night, a favorite right now. He is not a fan of soft things, like a blanket or stuffed animal. His comfort items are just the opposite. Today, though, his new found baseball mitt won over the flashlight. It was a really good morning.

When Matthew heard Daddy would soon be home, he was outside immediately. Adam is so good about always taking the time...and met him out there. Then Adam was off to gardening class. Tonight they will hear about insects. They have a quiz every time also, regarding material from their previous class. Hopefully Adam does o.k., because we gave him No time to look anything over before he left. He is so easy going about it all!

The weather is just perfect right now. Beautiful, clear, and just warm enough to go without a jacket. (This is the temp. we missed when down south.) We visited with our neighbors. Jim is doing really good. Pam and little Jaden, down the way, are moving. So that's too bad! Today is the most Kaitlyn has ever been outside - without being all bundled up and under wraps. Very nice. She was silent and taking it all in. She is so good!
