Off to JD's 2nd birthday party. He and his brother Caleb, 4 yrs., are good little friends who live cross the street.

Sitting with Jonus. We finally got to meet him today after hearing much about him. He's Caleb's other big and tall friend who is also 4 1/2 yrs. old. He and Matthew are pretty much the same size which was so nice to see! Matthew has always been big for his age, also. So it is nice to know someone 'in the same boat!'

On our walk home from the party we met another little girl in the neighborhood for the first time. She comes to visit her grandmother 1-2 times every week. Well, she is the first girl we've ever met who is Matthew's size that likes to rough house! They had Such a fun time! Kaitlyn, too. For of course she was right in the thick of it. One of Matthew's big things is to give kids hugs. So between him and Jocelyn, somebody was getting a bear hug on a regular basis and them tumbling into the grass. Along with a lot of running and wrestling. It was something to see. Especially with her relaxed Grandmother and Aunt looking on as we visited.

Such a fun day with so many nice kids to play with all at once! All so polite and respectful. Everyone had such a good time.

J.D. and Grammy. Joyce is simply lovely. Right along with her daughter, Karla, and son-in-law John. She comes over once a week to take care of the boys, as does John's mother. It has been such a gift to be able to get to know them all more and more. Especially as winter is over and we're all out doors again.

A couple miles from town is a tree, limb and yard waste dump. Adam and Matthew picked up two pickup loads of mulch. Since Adam loaded it himself, it was free! A big thank you to our neighbor, Jeff, for loaning us your pickup!
