Gardening

Well, the lot behind our house didn't work out for gardening. But a co-worker of Adam's wanted to get back into gardening and invited us along! She and her family live on the outskirts of Plattsmouth and have this nice large plot. So Adam has been going strong on it for about a week now.

Julie's son, Johnny, plays baseball! The first day Matthew came out with Adam he played on their play set and tossed the football around with him and his sister Abigail. He is Johnny's official shadow now as much as possible!

We all came out after church May 1st so Adam could give it a little sprinkle. He and Matthew had come out saturday at sunup and planted with Julie. Those two were sore today!

Monday night we all went out again and put some mulch on the rows and watered. Julie, John, Abigail and Johnny are a nice family!

The kids and I also went to story time at the library today. This is the second week in a row and we hope to continue. Kirsten, the librarian who leads it is absolutely wonderful. Quite possibly the nicest person in town! She truly loves kids and is so personable. She remembers everyones names and is always personally welcoming each person, no matter what time of the week it is.

May 2nd

Dilly bars after singing at the retirement home! Life is good.

Today we heard that Dad and Mom from Malta might come and visit! Possibly as soon as Mother's Day.
