She has always enjoyed baths and is continuing to love them more and more. Quite different than Matthew was. He was always so exhausted at the end of a bath and often needed breaks in the middle of one.
Kaitlyn is So much happier and relaxed again now that her first tooth is fully in. Hurrah! She is more herself again and unfortunately, I almost forgot what that was like. She must feel so much better. Daddy found that first tooth breaking through and now he sees where the second one is about to come through, too. Down, front, center - right next to the first one.

Matthew, The Little Explorer (far right)
Fun at the park on Thursday with our friends, Alisa, William and Sarah, and their Daddy and Mommy, Mike and Ramona.
Thursday evening to another park with Daddy. One of Kaitlyn's favorite past times - exploring faces and mouths. She is very good at scooting around while sitting, also. When you set her down, she automatically has one little foot cocked back - ready to scoot. She'll even do circles while keeping her eye on everything around her. If she gets down on her back, no problem! Kaitlyn will scoot upwards with her feet. She loves her new-found mobility!Kaitlyn has very deliberate, slow movements to pick small things up. It is so neat to watch. (And also so nice to be able to catch what shouldn't be gotten!)

This week Matthew has been doing some finger painting and playing with play dough. Thanks to Grandma Doris and Grandpa Frank. Still enjoying it! And he's also become the little explorer. Matthew is often saying, "let me see!" when Daddy and Mommy are doing almost anything. And if he's being extra quiet somewhere out of our view, we'll ask, "what are you doing, Matthew?" His reply is almost always, "just lookin'!" It's very common to find him up on a stool rooting through the china cabinet or up on an overturned plastic tub looking through Daddy's toolbox and shelves. Even up on the bathroom counter looking through the cabinets. All common property in his mind.
Adam has been cleaning up and rearranging! Our office now has a nice big open area, Hurrah! And the sun room going out to the backyard is all cleaned up. He found some expired sweetened condensed milk from 2008 and some baking powder that should have been used a year ago, among some other things....Hmmm.
On thursday we went to the park with some friends. Then that evening we went to another park for a church fundraiser. So we had a fill of fun in the sun that day!
