Matthew comes almost every time with Daddy. His right hand little man.
Saturday, June 4th, Adam put up trellising for the tomatoes and peas. In the middle are four different types of bell pepper plants coming up & jalapeno plants.
(Today Adam started at our house fertilizing, then went over to a friends yard to mow and edge here in Plattsmouth. She is a co-worker and just moved to San Antonio, so this was the first weekend taking care of her yard. It should go faster next week.
He then came home for lunch and then off to the big garden for the rest of the day.
Today was quite intensive, so Matthew was home part of the time.)

The first bean crop had weather that was too cold. Adam reseeded last saturday and they are almost 3 inches tall now! (6/5)
Potatoes, onions and a reseeded crop of cucumbers.
All coming along so nicely! Radishes, rutabagas, turnips, 2 kinds of beets, 3 kinds of carrots, spinach, lettuce mix, kale and butter crunch lettuce.
On the end we have butternut squash, spaghetti squash, watermelon, cantaloupe, and pumpkin. We hope not to have to water a lot, but this upcoming week looks hot.
Adam was off to Gillette this past thursday and friday, the 2nd and 3rd. They just bought a haul truck simulator so Adam was there to help introduce it. Lot's of rain there!! Just like last year at this time! So glad we have renters at our old place keeping the lawn down.
Please pray for the Malta, Montana area. After a very long winter of excessive snow and arctic cold they now have so much rain that the farmers aren't getting their crops in and the flooding needs to recede and be done! Pretty much everyone's basement has water in it and major roads are often closed, let alone private ones.

This 'one bush' has the two different types of flowers on it. Must have gotten the bulbs mixed up.
