To the greatest Daddy in the world!
....with much thanks to the Greatest Fathers in the world!
We love you Daddy, Grandpa and Poppa! Thank you for loving us and being the men in our lives we can look up to and aspire to emulate.
Saturday, June 18, 2010 was of course spent outdoors. Potatoes is simply in the blood! And our yard at home is one of the nicest one's on the block. Thanks Adam!...Churchill standards are still in the blood, too!Off to the zoo for Father's Day!
June 19th

A ride on the carousal. He was so proud to ride it all by himself. Plus, there were some great kids he made friends with right away and talked to the whole time. Kaitlyn was in sore need of a nap after going to a really good 3-D movie (on rescued baby orangutans and elephants.) It was their first movie ever ~ and such a great one to start with! Only an hour long and no scary parts. They really enjoyed it. So the girls were off to the car for some R&R. We originally came to see a car show there, so the boys went off in search of that. Unfortunately, it was already done...? Great day anyway!
Off to see the river.
Matthew always in the mix of it. They were watching minnows jump up onto the road and swim across right in front of them.
This is a fairly new subdivision. Now, boat access only. The berms/sandbags are holding for everything here!
The locals called it this last year also. Now someone put out a little sign. It is deceivingly beautiful and peaceful...but just supposed to be cornfields and location of our wells for drinking water for three towns.
