Across the street from Kiewit Plaza is the Blackstone Center. It is an Omaha historical building built in 1915, which used to be a hotel. Famous people are known to have stayed there, such as president Richard Nixon and actor Jimmy Stewart. Now Adam is down in the basement in his new office.
This move is due in part to Adam's new role in helping implement Kiewit's new computer program. Two other men will be sharing this room with him, Scott and Mike. The three of them will be traveling to all of the coal mines together as they gain information and answer questions on site.
Just outside their office is a vending machine. Twice this month it broke down and was very slow in being cleaned and repaired. Very smelly! Cheesecake, sandwiches, milk and all.
