Around Omaha

Walking across the bridge connecting Omaha, Nebraska and Council Bluffs,Iowa. It just opened this year.

The Missouri River
It was a long walk - and not too much on the other side. We were hungry!

Crossing the state line.

The Omaha Children's Museum, June 8th, tuesday. When we were waiting to get in, Kaitlyn quietly took Blake's hand. They both really enjoyed each other.

Here they are squirting water.

This place was just packed with kids. These pictures don't reveal that too much. But I was So thankful to have Debbie there with me. It was our first visit here and none of us were familiar with the place. And Matthew likes to always quickly make a full round of new places. I could not keep up with him. He was so fast, calmly trying out each thing, one right after another. Even with Blake's help, we could not keep track of him for about the first hour.

This room was full of pipes with air running through them. The kids could place balls into them and watch them quickly swoop away into the maze of tubing.

Clifford the Big Red Dog area.

This is an "O" and exclamation point for Omaha. Artists have done different things with them and they are all over the city. When children sat on the chair the music would play at this one.

Matthew played with this for a long time. It was a Clifford the Big Red Dog display where children could roll bones into his big dog dish.

This was probably the favorite room in the place.

Kaitlyn has always liked slides. Here is another one.
