March 29-31st

Another blizzard on Monday! A number of mines closed again for the day as well as the schools, but not Buckskin. Roads closed and there was emergency travel only again. Most of the workers were inside cleaning for the day at Buckskin, but the coal run was still going. It had melted a lot on Sunday from the previous storm as it reached 50 degrees. Now it's a nice amount again with about 5-7 inches added from snowing and blowing all day the 30th. On the way to work that morning Adam and Tom couldn't see the road at all plus two feet up with the ground blizzard. So that wasn't too fun.

Matthew went to sleep the other night with all of his books from his bookshelf. That was his choice of 'comfort item.' He is also loving to paint every day. He has also been putting on two different pairs of his shoes through the day. He'll put one pair on with a little help, then take them off and put on the other pair. For quite a while he always had them on the right feet. I think the way the velcro goes helps him know which feet he wants them on. But the other had laces, and those have been right every time so far. And he still loves clomping around in our shoes too.

Kaitlyn is doing very well too. She will be getting baptized up in Malta and has a pretty little dress for that. She is smiling all the time still and we really like her little dimples.
