Adam came home tonight from work ready to take care of all the tomatoes that have been building up. He has taken a lot to work and given them out. Today he took nine 1 lb. containers and he said that a lot of people just eat them right there for snacks during the day. They are so good. Tonight it's tomato puree.
Earlier today, August 3rd, Matthew and Kaitlyn were invited across the street for swimming in Caleb and J.D.'s kiddy pool. They had such a good time. And Karla suggested I simply go home and take a nap. What an angel! I took her up on her offer : )
Adam is thinking of making some yellow ketchup. For right now it will be canned.
Kaitlyn's favorite job is taking off the green tops.
The blender does a super fast job - with easy clean up.
Future spaghetti and pizza sauce. Oh, it smelled So Good in the house for two days. Falling to sleep with the aroma was so nice!
Filled as high as it can go!
We all really like our IPhone and ITouch. We have quite a few children's apps. Kaitlyn has Daddy's since it has by far the most! Nice to relax with every now and then.
Adam has his IPhone All the time. He is always checking it and using it. Such a great tool for work.
Mahoney State Park for Kiewit's annual company picnic, August 6th. It was very nice temperatures this year with a wonderful breeze! Last year was really hot. We've been here a year now! So nice seeing a familiar place and a lot more familiar faces! We all had such a good time.
Matthew was busily playing on the different big bouncing areas and other games available.
Kaitlyn got her first butterfly and flower painting. She was very interested.
Time to get inside for a while and cool off a bit.
This is a huge play area that we spent the rest of the day at. Parents could visit while kids played and played...and still didn't want to leave after 2 hours or more. I barely got this picture of Matthew.
When Matthew finally agreed to leave, we took a drive through their Animal Safari Zoo. They had pretty much all of the animals from the Montana area - so that was nice to see.
