Adam was home from work two fridays in a row! He was so tired this week...but thursday night, 8/25, he got us all to spend the night in the backyard! So much fun!
Matthew Really enjoys a good job that he can accomplish. The other day he was thrilled to change three light bulbs in the house. And he's always ready with a screwdriver to check things over and put them back together again!
The kids had so much fun settling down for the night! So much to see and do. Just when Kaitlyn was ready to think about actually falling asleep, she said she would rather do so in her own bedroom. But with a little prompting, she slept so soundly out in the tent with Daddy and Matthew the entire night!
The weather is perfect right now. The night was not too hot and not too cold. And very few mosquitoes!

Matthew and Adam spent the night out there again on friday! In church on sunday we heard that there had been a father-son campout. Hey...us too!
Saturday we had chiropractor appointments. Adam had the most adjustments he's ever had before. The chiropractor said that every rib was out of place. And the tough guy had never complained! Good thing that we're done 'camping.'
Riding bikes is the latest and greatest thing to do!
Today, 8/23, we're heading downtown to pick up our car. A few parts were replaced and it was a good little adventure.
Later today we all went to a prenatal appointment and had a tour of the labor and delivery ward. Adam got off work early and joined us. Then we drove over to where the birthing center is being completed, just down the road from the hospital. Everything is on schedule and we look forward to having a tour of that, too, when it is completed. The hospital is great and so is the staff! But we're looking forward to the birthing center a little bit more.
