Ever since Adam graduated from MSU in 2005 I've been able to stay at home. This was always our goal when we first married in 1999. We are so thankful it has worked out! I never take it for granted one day.

I must admit it was an adjustment at first. But we've been working on a schedule that works for everyone ever since. It has been so wonderful being with Matthew, and now Kaitlyn, through the day. There is never a dull moment.

Ever since Matthew was a baby we've been going to 'storytime' at the library. It's been a nice weekly outing that we've both always enjoyed. Matthew and Kaitlyn get to see other kids, sing songs, hear stories and get exposed to the library. And I get to visit with other mothers.

It's a little harder to get outdoors on a regular basis now that it's so chilly in Gillette. But we also like to take walks and go to parks. Gillette's population's average age is about 32. And along with that are A Lot of families. So we see kids Everywhere we go. It's been really nice. Matthew is very social, so we meet people everywhere we go.

Otherwise, we seem to revolve around eating and sleeping. Quite a big chunk out of the day quite honestly. But they need both of them, so we take the necessary time to get them in.
