So Good Seeing Everybody in the Great MidWest!

These two buddies are going to travel to Montana together in the big moving truck. Get unloaded, get some work done, and in one week return for the rest of us! For Adam has a class he needs to take at Country Maid regarding the pastry business back in Iowa, then. He can easily make a small detour and pick us up. Why not all of us go next door to Iowa in a couple of weeks?! Our Plattsmouth stay just stretched from two weeks to four!

This tree spans over two houses.
Did good.
What a beautiful weed free plot.

Lot's of good memories. Lot's of good times.

Trimming the trees across the road. This is the one rental on the block and our neighbors living here have been worried about their old, unkempt trees. Glad to see this!

On the way to Montana!
Back to Grandpa Frank and Grandma Doris' house. A huge thank you to Dad for helping unload Both moving trucks with Adam!

Fresh from our garden! It's in need of weeding, but otherwise growing great!
Sunday

Adam and Matthew also saw Roger and Shari Solberg in Bozeman while they were here. Shari had just sold her condo and Adam helped muscle out the last of her furniture with Roger. So good to see them!

I also missed our Malta Elim Lutheran Brethren Church's 100th Anniversary. Everyone worked so hard in preparations and all said there was a really good turn out. They even printed up a professional, slim book of our history and Mom gave me a copy. Very good!

I also missed Adam's first high school reunion. But he went and really enjoyed seeing everyone who was able to make it!
I am told he ate the Whole thing! Everyone was pretty impressed.
A bad hail storm hit the west side of the valley. A total loss, many farmers said in the Manhattan and Churchill area.
The high winds didn't help any either. Here's our squash.

 The carrots.
The corn. But amazingly this corn was standing back up, looking quite good in about a week, Mom and Dad said! And the potato farmers ended up getting a very decent harvest after all when harvest time came. The wheat, though, was swathed by many and baled. Some even replanted to see how far it would get and use for silage. God is faithful.

We also ended up with a lot of good produce in the end!

In Plattsmouth, it's time to get out of the house : )
So off for a last-time clothes shopping trip. Bozeman area just doesn't carry many little girl dresses : )

While doing that, we must stop at two of our favorite play areas.

I am practicing at trusting God a little bit better, again. At 22 mo., William decides to go to the high points and see about jumping. Praise the Lord, He is real, and He is right here with us through all these things!
  Of course, all goes well.

One last trip to the zoo! They bought the old baseball field next door and are expanding the parking area! So many more people can easily come now! The zoo is big and easily handles it. A very enjoyable day!
Zachary and Mickie didn't realize that Matthew wasn't coming. I didn't even think of mentioning it! But they are so nice to Kaitlyn and encourage her to join right in with all they do! So nice!

We loaded up the washer and drier when we first came to Montana. So this trip we've been coming here, downtown Plattsmouth. It's very close and the best priced laundry mat I've ever seen! But they save some money with no air conditioning. Very warm!

Lunch break! Had to come here one last time, too.
Plattsmouth is the second oldest town in Nebraska. We will miss all its beauty!

Picking up another Craigs List item, we got to drive right by Adam's old office. I have been here only a handful of times, and not even inside. Only Matthew has had the chance.
Can't believe Adam made it out. An old friend kind of joked with him about losing your soul here. Adam replied, "they still have a little bit of mine."

I always like seeing what they come up with! Kids are such a blessing.

This is our blog, so our kids are mostly all that I 'talk' about, but please know!!...kids are so amazing! All of them! Each and every one of them are such a blessing! "The closest thing to heaven, is a child," is a phrase from a song from my childhood that often comes back to mind. It is so true.

Over to a park in Bellevue to meet up with many of our friends! (The oldest town in Nebraska.)

Madilyn's first time going up these kinds of steps!

This was the first time Natalie and Kaitlyn really hit it off. So hard to leave!
