October 18 - 21st

Kaitlyn really copies Matthew a lot. Especially in what they say.

This is the first time they've ever

 done this all by themselves.

Homeschool is really good for cooperation and teamwork.

The weekend means Daddy's available tablet!

Therefore...Kaitlyn can also play on the computer in peace. She is getting really good at the mouse.

To Tracy and Mike's for fishing and a bonfire. Saturday, October 20th

This is their backyard on Beaver Lake.

Tying on hooks.

He wanted to get in the water So Bad!

Zachary immediately caught a fish. Then proceeded to catch six, the last I heard! Tracy said that is normal, he is their little fisherman. He stopped for quite a while too, and gave others a chance to use his pole!

Matthew patiently waiting to go fishing.

Erin and her family! So nice meeting her husband, Adrien and all the other husbands.

Tracy made sure all the kids caught a fish. She worked at getting all the lines baited and releasing almost all the fish! She is a full fledged SuperMom. It is so beneficial knowing her and seeing her in action, let alone being friends!

Trying a different location. He was Very focused.
Kaitlyn's first fish ever! She caught hers first, and we all laughed at Matthew's expression! "She won!" (As he would have proclaimed if He had : )

JD and Caleb, with their Dad, John

Helana and her sister

Erin was so sweet to help us cast! Apparently Adam is the only one in our family who knows anything about fishing.

There it is!

Matthew's first fish ever! He ended up catching four.

Playing in the leaves with John Paul and David.

David
When we first arrived, kids were playing in the leaves, Tracy's little Madeline was perfectly playing right outside of the house with some toys all by herself, her husband Mike was building the picture perfect fire....and all within a beautiful view of the lake on a gorgeous evening. Truly a Norman Rockwell welcome!

Oops. Tangled in the tree.

What a good Daddy.

JD...Wow!

Beautiful Erin and John Paul

Sweetest little one year old we have Ever seen. Madelyn is Always good natured.

What a swing!

It was so cold and rainy for the last three days!! But it was so nice tonight that Natalie ended up getting pretty wet!

Caleb and JD ready for their canoe ride.

This weekend is Karla and John's anniversary!

Jodie, the Indian princess. Erin aptly said this. With her beautiful long hair out on the peaceful lake, yes. Her son Justine is up front, and Natalie.

Jodie took these from the canoe.  Here is her husband, Aaron, fishing from the dock. Tracy and Mike's house is on the left.

Kaitlyn's first canoe ride!

Kaitlyn and Helana. They really liked it!

Backing out for Matthew's and my first canoe ride with Hannah and Kaitlyn. Hannah is Erin's older daughter.

Here is Justin watching us come in, Jodie's oldest son.

A football fell in. So everybody is watching Mike go out to the rescue! On the left is Justin and Natalie on either side of Kaitlyn, Jodie's kids. Then Zachary and his oldest brother, Mikey, are on either side of Matthew.
Erin and Hannah

Matthew, Natalie, Mikey and Justin
