Planning to Leave Kiewit ~ 2/2013

For Valentine's Day William, only 17 mo. old, started swinging on the elliptical machine. It was all his idea! He made it look effortless.

This week we hosted the preschool co-op at our home. I didn't take any pictures, but am hoping some will be passed on to me by the others! It went well. We had a Valentine's party included, also, so that made it fun. Though it was also very hard. This will be our last one at our place. We made the announcement that we are planning on moving back home to Montana. It's really been on Adam's heart this past year to be done with the corporate world and focus more on family. These are precious years, and we just don't want to have any regrets. Though saying good bye to our dear Nebraska friends will be So Hard. We've loved it here.

Matthew was So excited! He wore his own skates in to the building. I don't think anyone else did : )  This was his first time skating away from home. I think he was one of the best one's there.

Kaitlyn did really good! She is so independent!

Doing the limbo. Anyone from the public was there, too. It was for younger kids and the owner is there in the middle holding the pole. He walked them through everything and made it really fun.

Nebraska has been in a drought for two years now. So this is a good snow!

It's official. Adam just gave his resignation. Two weeks notice and up came the 'for sale' sign. (It's big!)
He said it was the hardest thing he's done in a long time. It reminded him of when he told his good friend and boss, Clifford Schutter, that he was going back to school for his degree and wouldn't be working full time with them. Hard.

Nothing like the taste of fresh snow!

Scott's wife, Anita, and daughter, Callista. She's Matthew's age. When we first moved to Omaha, Anita called about the second day we were here and invited us to church. Thank you for being such good friends, Scott and Anita!

Matthew really enjoyed this!

Kaitlyn used this a lot and got quite a few strikes with it! The kids played their game and the adults played right next to them. The kids did better than us on the first round! Good bowlers!

Our next door neighbor and good friend, Jeff, built this snowman with Matthew last week. It took a long time! He is the best!!

Adam is getting into the Butter Braid business with his parents. We're moving to Amsterdam, Montana thanks to them. With them allowing Adam to join in their business and house us next door - they are the catalyst. And we are so grateful for their generosity!
