One of Dylan's last day with us, also. He is leaving for Florida once school is out. He will be greatly missed!
Like father, like son.
We are so thankful for our fathers!! We are so blessed with these Godly men of integrity who are an asset to society, let alone their families!! God is using them mightily.
Adam's favorite past time; farming.
This is about how big the garden was last year. This year he is trying these compostable strips of paper to see if they really will help keep weeds down! The seedlings have a strip right down the middle of each row to grow through.
Raised rows ready for planting!
He's also placed irrigation drips under the paper.
He first did this irrigating when we were in Gillette. Fantastic!! No heavy hoses every day crushing around the plants! He always gives his irrigating expertise accolades to the Schutter's!
Expanding the garden! Using the same paper, simply laid over the grass and placing the last of our dirt pile on top of it! Good vision, Adam!
One shovel full at a time. Adam is amazing. This was the left over from the building addition on our house and basement. It was big! And the kids have never complained about losing their favorite play spot!
Directly outside of Mom and Dad's kitchen window!
Adam found these three young Mourning Doves in the tree right outside of our house!
Part of the new garden produced from the hill. The little mounds will each be different types of squash. The fence is to keep the deer out. Thanks to Phil Olson for donating that!! After the hail last year, we also lost some to the daily trek of the deer through here. This is their usual path, so we'll see!
Our little chef.
A couple of Kaitlyn's photos! She really likes the outdoors and captured this sunset.
Tulips from out front. Kaitlyn always has a bouquet of something!
Lance, Seth and Casey here visiting!! Jen has a back injury and just can't make the trip. Standing is not bad and she is still working, but the drive to and from Spokane is impossible. Miss you! Seth and Casey are in Platteville, CO but getting ready to move to Ft. Collins!
Mom got us to a photo shoot!
One morning the guys went shooting and the gals went out for brunch. Very nice!!
Out for some fun.
Such nice uncles!! They ran and played 'til they were tired!
They often were visiting and reading to the kids through the week. We love you aunties and uncles!!!
Such a beautiful spring with so much moisture! And Dad and Mom planted a brand new garden out back, too! You can see it a little here in the background.
We also had Vacation Bible School through the same week. But it worked out ok. Here is the final program we could come and watch at Manhattan Christian Church.
Bethel CRC combined together putting on this VBS. And then! These decorations go to the Grace Bible Church in Bozeman next week. All working together!
They gave out cd's of the songs sung through the week. The kids like it so much!
William hamming it up afterwards. Trying to lift this : )
The sunset on the way home!
Kaitlyn took this picture!
