One Saturday we went to West Yellowstone.
The Grizzly Discovery Center
We came when they were taking turns eating. More kept coming from a cage behind a little hill and the full ones going in. We must have finally seen about 8. A lot of action!

There was also an outdoor viewing area where we had just come from. It had made me nervous! We were up kind of high and one wolf came right up to the fence where Kaitlyn and I were standing. He literally looked at each one of us and then the top of the fence, and back at us again. I felt like we were tasty wolf morsels and hurried and caught up with the boys!
On the way home we also saw a mother moose and her baby on the side of the road! It was dark and no one was around, so Adam stopped, backed up and we got a nice close up view! Gorgeous. My first time ever, and for sure the kids!

Matthew would call, "Who needs a hug?" and William would come running. Over and over they did this and Matthew would sing a little song as they hugged. So sweet!

On Dry Creek Road we kept watching these longhorns. Finally one day, William was napping in the car seat, Matthew was off working with Daddy so we stopped. They were so friendly!
Back home the horses found Adam's compost pile. So cute watching them eat the corn and vegetable plants.

William has always slept with his 'blankie' and now he's added this 'baby doll' of Kaitlyn's and her little stuffed monkey. She sometimes has a hard time with him claiming them, but it is pretty cute to see his armload of things at bedtime! Especially if he adds a book to the list of what he needs. He's not giving one thing up!
We walked over to Amsterdam school to see how Matthew and his friend, Dylan, are doing. And there's William in the back! Barely two years old!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We have so much to be thankful for: A country that's worth fighting for. Where we can worship Jesus on Sunday and every day. A place where we have the freedom to school our own children. A place where we can raise them as we believe God intended them to be raised. A place where we can live in peace. We are so thankful for good health, good work ethic, integrity, and wonderful family and friends. Thank you Lord!
I kept hearing about how the pastry business runs right up to the holidays. And then they are so tired, and it's a little hard to enjoy. So I invited everyone to relax and come over to our place - Adam, too. Just wake up and drag over! Turns out that this year, things went very smoothly and they had one day of no deliveries before the holiday! So we were very thankful for that!

It was hot. Especially with all of their running. Here they are slowing down to build an airplane. Sho was very serious about it and had a hard time stopping for a picture. Oops! I won't try that again!
