Little Budding Photographer

Matthew got a hold of the camera quite a few times this week and took a lot of pictures. He's getting better! But he has his own camera, too, that you can see here (which he is not as near so careful with!).

Matthew was told he has a very good sense of humor. He loves asking, "This one? This way?" With a little gleam in his eye. For he is checking to see if we're paying attention. Then he'll give a big laugh. He especially loves doing this while putting on his shoes. "This one?" with the wrong shoe poised over the wrong foot. "No,"we respond...."This one?" with the wrong shoe still in place. Over and over, with a big laugh each time we say, "No," so happily.

Grandpa liked it when he would pretend to throw the baseball. Matthew would give a big laugh when Grandpa would put up his hands to try and catch...nothing. Then Grandpa saw the biggest smile when Matthew really did go to throw it! (When of course Grandpa couldn't have known if Matthew was going to fake it or throw it.)

So wonderful having Grandpa and Grandma here! Matthew is also always so interested in Grandma's knitting. So he also practised on lacing some animal figures with her and Grandpa while they were here.
